Access for Success
As a solopreneur, I find myself frequently setting my phone to silent. Whether I'm with a client, on a shoot, or attending an event, I aim to keep my focus—and that of those around me—undisturbed. However, this often leads to me forgetting to switch the ringer back on, resulting in missed calls.
To enhance accessibility and improve the experience for potential clients, I've been exploring various solutions.
Firstly, I've transitioned my landline to a Google Voice number, which conveniently sends a text message when a call is missed.
Secondly, I've introduced a 'schedule a call' feature on my website, offering a no-obligation chat for those interested.
Of course, traditional methods like email and my website's contact form remain in place. If you've had any experiences with Google Voice or scheduling calendars—be they positive or negative—I'd be keen to hear your thoughts.
